After the transition from unborn-to-infant, the transition from child-to-adult may be the
most challenging.  The Teen Mentor Program is designed to provide assistance to
emerging adults (teens and twenty-something's) making this important and somewhat
difficult transition.

The program is comprised of two major components:

  1. Concept Discussions - The concepts include practical principles that will
provide guidance to how the best choices can be made in keeping with your
personal values.  The following topics will be discussed:
  • What career choices best match who I am?
  • What educational path should I consider?
  • Things to consider before dating
  • Are credit cards a good thing?
  • What should I look for in a spouse?
  • Who am I and what matters most to me?
  • Who is God and does He really care about my life?
  • What will employers expect of me?
  • How do I handle the anxieties I feel about being all on my own?
  1. Mentor Sessions - The coach or mentor component provides each emerging
adult access to someone that cares and can help them apply the concepts to
their own life.  The mentor is different than any other relationship you have had
in that they are qualified, caring but will not make your decisions for you.  They
will help you sort through the issues, so that you can make the decision that is
    best for you.

The concepts and coaching are based on Christian values and practical business
principles.
